Who this applies to

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Jobpace — the website at jobpace.dk and the application at app.jobpace.dk (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by Jobpace, a Danish sole proprietorship (personfirma) operated by David Baunsgaard, CVR/SE no. 46528964, registered address Møllegårdsvej 4, 5882 Vejstrup, Denmark ("Jobpace", "we", "us").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the Service. These Terms sit alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data.

Jobpace is intended for individual professionals managing their own job search. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

02

The service

Jobpace is an AI-assisted career suite that helps you run your job search: matching your profile against job listings, optimising your CV, drafting cover letters and outreach messages, mapping the market, preparing for interviews, and similar tools. Which tools are available, and how they work, may change over time as we improve the product.

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to take the Service down temporarily for maintenance, or make changes to features, without that being a breach of these Terms — we'll try to give notice for anything significant.

03

Your account

You need an account to use Jobpace. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know immediately at hello@jobpace.dk if you think someone else has accessed it.

Accounts are personal — one account per person, not shared across a team or resold. The information you give us when creating and maintaining your account (name, email, and anything you add to your profile) needs to be accurate; you're responsible for keeping it up to date.

04

Plans, payment & withdrawal

Jobpace offers paid plans for fixed periods of 1, 3 or 6 months. You pay for the selected period in advance through our payment processor, Stripe.

Your plan does not renew automatically. When your selected period ends, your access to paid features will expire unless you choose to purchase a new plan. You can purchase another 1, 3 or 6-month period at any time.

Prices are shown in Danish kroner (DKK) and include 25% Danish VAT unless stated otherwise. Any approximate EUR/GBP prices shown elsewhere are for orientation only.

Statutory right of withdrawal (14 days): As a consumer, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (forbrugeraftaleloven). To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at hello@jobpace.dk within the applicable withdrawal period.

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund the payment in accordance with the applicable rules.

By purchasing a plan, you acknowledge that the plan provides access to digital services during the selected period. If you expressly request that access to the digital service begins before the expiry of the withdrawal period, your right of withdrawal may be affected to the extent permitted by applicable law.

05

AI-generated content

Most of what Jobpace produces — CV rewrites, cover letters, outreach messages, interview prep, market analysis and similar — is generated using AI (currently Claude, by Anthropic) based on the information you provide. Every AI-produced result in the app is labelled as AI-generated, so it's always clear what came from the model versus what you wrote yourself.

AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or not quite right for your situation — it's a starting point you're expected to review, edit and take ownership of before using it, not a finished product to send unread. Jobpace doesn't guarantee that any AI-generated content is accurate, or that using it will lead to interviews, offers, or any particular career outcome.

Nothing Jobpace's AI produces is a solely-automated decision with legal or similarly significant effect on you — the output is shown to you, not acted on automatically, and you decide what to do with it (see also our Privacy Policy, section 07).

06

Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload or create with Jobpace — your CV, profile information, LinkedIn export, assessment answers, and the AI-generated documents produced from them ("Your Content"). We don't claim ownership over it.

By using the Service, you give us a limited licence to process Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — for example, sending relevant parts of your profile to our AI provider to generate a cover letter, or storing your CV so you can access it from another device. This licence ends when Your Content is deleted, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You're responsible for making sure you have the right to upload what you upload — for instance, that a LinkedIn export or reference letter you provide doesn't improperly include someone else's personal data without a basis for sharing it.

07

Acceptable use

Please don't use Jobpace to:

  • Break the law, or infringe someone else's rights (including privacy, intellectual property, or data protection rights);
  • Upload content on someone else's behalf without their knowledge or a valid basis for doing so;
  • Use AI-generated output to mislead an employer about your qualifications, experience, or identity — the tools are meant to help you present yourself accurately and well, not to fabricate a background;
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying models, prompts, or source code behind the Service;
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to people outside your own account;
  • Interfere with the Service's normal operation — excessive automated requests, attempts to bypass usage limits, or anything that could disrupt the Service for other users;
  • Upload malicious files or content designed to compromise the Service or other users.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, particularly where it affects the security or availability of the Service for others.

08

Intellectual property

Jobpace — the software, design, branding, and underlying technology — belongs to us (or our licensors) and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own job search; they don't transfer any ownership of the platform itself to you.

You retain ownership of Your Content. To the extent you have intellectual property rights in AI-generated documents produced through the Service, you retain those rights.

09

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Jobpace is a tool designed to support your job search. It does not provide career counselling, legal, financial, recruitment or other professional advice, and we do not guarantee any particular outcome, including an interview, job offer, salary or employment.

You are responsible for the decisions you make and for reviewing and approving any CVs, applications, messages or other material before you submit or send them to an employer or any other third party.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Jobpace does not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for your particular purposes.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Jobpace shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service, including loss of employment opportunities, income, data or other expected benefits.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory rights and protections available to consumers under Danish and EU law.

10

Third-party services

Jobpace relies on a small number of third-party providers to operate: Anthropic (AI processing), Supabase (database hosting, EU-West/Ireland), Vercel (application hosting), and Stripe (payments). Full detail on what each processor sees and why is in our Privacy Policy, section 05. We choose providers that meet our data protection standards, but we are not liable for disruptions caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, subject to your statutory rights.

11

Termination

You can stop using Jobpace and delete your account at any time from your account settings, or by asking us at hello@jobpace.dk. We may suspend or terminate your account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, or if we're required to by law.

What happens to your data after your account is closed — how long it's kept and when it's deleted — is described in our Privacy Policy, section 08.

12

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. For material changes, we'll give you reasonable notice — by email or an in-app notice — before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms; if you don't agree, you can close your account.

13

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by Danish law. If you're a consumer resident in the EU, this doesn't take away any mandatory consumer protections you have under the law of the country you live in. Disputes that can't be resolved directly should be brought before the competent Danish courts, subject to any mandatory consumer rights.
